Hidden Number live, at Founders Day Festival, Rendezvous, 6pm, Sunday, August 15th, 2010, free

Well, the boys at Hidden Number are at it again. This time, we find them gearing up for the Seattle Founders Day Festival, in Seattle’s boisterous Belltown neighborhood. So grab your preferred companion, and come on out to Rendezvous for a packed night of performers, music and, of course, libations.  We’re planning on providing a very special visual presentation throughout the show, that should provide some well deserved respite from the shackles of the day’s tedium. Please enjoy with our compliments.

There is a lot going on in the neighborhood, but you can find us at Rendezvous. The whole evening starts at 6pm. We’ll be joined by

Hidden Number at the Comet Tavern

Hidden Number at the Comet Tavern

Thanks to everyone for the stupendous turnout, despite it being a Sunday night and our ridiculously early show time!   If you click on this underlined phrase, then some magic electric pictures will appear from the last show at the Comet.  Erynn took these photos.  We are always very happy when he takes pictures, especially when they are of us.  Also, you just can’t go wrong when he gets all tilt shifty.  We played with Dead Cinema, Mr. Frederick, and Black Science, and we’re friends now.  We hope Mr. Fredrick was able to find suitable grilled cheese sandwhiches at 3am that were of the same or higher quality as Portland grilled cheese sandwiches.

It was entertaining when an enebriated gentleman started doing handstands in the front of Black Science.  We were kind of jealous, but I don’t know how those guys held it together.  How does someone with a muted nervous system stay aloft in such a manner, while Black Science is rocking so hard?

Our set list was as follows: Static Age (The Misfits), Human Error, Midnight Beachboy, Fanged 2 Deth, Friendz for Evar, Hybrid Moments (The Misfits), U R Transparent

We want to make friends with you at our next show, and maybe even fall in love.  It’s going to be all about you, baby.  Here are upcoming dates:

(Feb 3 @ Nectar, and Feb 25 @ Rendezvous)

The next show will feature a funny robot.

Hidden Number live at the Comet

Well, rock lovers, it seems the boys are at it again.  Two Thousand and Ten heralds a new year filled with swinging songs for Hidden Number‘s troubadors, and golly they look poised for action.  No arguments here.

And for just a few extra bob, any Tom, Dick, Harry, or Margaret for that matter, can swagger down to the old Comet Tavern, admire some hustle and bustle of big city life, and then grab themselves a pint along with our boys from the Hidden Number gang.

And that’s not all!  Sure as salt, Black Science, Mr. Frederick, and Dead Cinema will join in on the festivities, to boot.  No RSVP needed, but automobile parking is on the street, so come one, come all, but come early.

Capital Hill just can’t be beat for Sunday night shenanigans!  Just ask your kind policeman; he’ll tell you where to go!

We are having our monthly attendance gathering of individuals to determine the approved minimum suitable levels of ROCK MUSIC THAT WILL OBLITERATE YOUR SOUL, after having some delicious tempura artichoke hearts (my favorite, and yours). This is again one of the few chances for HN fans to come early to a show, consume tempura artichoke hearts, and then experience an evening of music appropriate to a consistent aesthetic, yo.

You should check out Datura Blues and Black Science on their websites in preparation.

Update: (apologies to those on the newsletter; usually we tell you first) We are playing an updated version of Friends for Ever. Update x 2: Dean’s gonna record Black Science in a couple weeks in Magnets Large & Small.

In other news, Joe’s gonna procreate, we still have a poll open, and we recorded some tracks for Friends for ever, fang to death, human error, and will be recording You Are Transparent next.
